Kevin T. Carter is the Founder & Chief Investment Officer of EMQQ Global, including EMQQ, FMQQ, and INQQ. While he considers himself an active “value” investor first and foremost, he has collaborated with Princeton economist and indexing legend, Dr. Burton Malkiel, for more than 20 years.

Mr. Parker serves as the Director of EMQQ and President of Big Tree Capital LLC. Prior to EMQQ, Mr. Parker worked at Progress Investment Management Co., the San Francisco based firm focused on minority and women-owned emerging managers. He previously worked at AlphaShares, an investment firm offering Emerging Markets and China focused ETF’s in partnership with Guggenheim Investments. Mr. Parker holds a B.A. in Economics and B.A. in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Kevin T. Carter is the Founder & Chief Investment Officer of EMQQ Global, including EMQQ, FMQQ, and INQQ. While he considers himself an active “value” investor first and foremost, he has collaborated with Princeton economist and indexing legend, Dr. Burton Malkiel, for more than 20 years. Their work together began in 1999 with the development of eInvesting, a pioneer firm in fractional share brokerage that was acquired by ETRADE in 2000. In 2002 they founded Active Index Advisors, a pioneer in so-called “direct indexing” that was acquired by Natixis Asset Management in 2005. In 2006, their efforts turned to China and Emerging Markets with Dr. Malkiel’s publishing of “Investment Strategies to Exploit Economic Growth in China” and the subsequent book From Wall Street to the Great Wall. Working with Guggenheim Partners, they launched several China focused ETFs on the NYSE.
Kevin launched EMQQ in 2014 after noticing how the smartphone was changing his personal consumption habits. He now lives in Lafayette, California with his wife and three children.

Ms. Stapleton joins EMQQ as Vice President of Marketing. Prior to EMQQ, Ms. Stapleton founded two internationally successful impact campaigns promoting economic, social and environmental sustainability. Ms. Stapleton received a degree in Spanish, Nonprofit Management & Leadership Studies, and Public Administration, with a pooled concentration in Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Ms. Benson serves as Director of Business Development at EMQQ. Prior to joining EMQQ Kira led business development at MARS SalesFocus Solutions, a provider of distribution intelligence for the asset management industry and Captec Systems. Kira spent 7 years in London working in investor relations and relationship management at both BlueBay Asset Management and BlackRock. Preceding her move to London Kira worked in securities lending at BlackRock’s San Francisco office. Kira began her career at Morgan Stanley’s Graystone Consulting after graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Mr. Bailey serves as Director of Research at EMQQ and an advisor to the INQQ Index Committee. Prior to his current role, Akeem worked at Rondure Global Advisors, where he helped oversee research and due diligence on emerging market equities. Preceding that he worked for Arisaig Partners, a Singapore-based hedge fund focused exclusively on consumer and internet companies in emerging markets. Akeem began his career living and working in India as a strategy consultant for one of the country’s largest industrial companies: the Mahindra Group. Akeem holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.

Kalea Power is the Vice President of Business Development at EMQQ Global. Prior to her role at EMQQ Global, Kalea managed private sector development programs and partnerships in Emerging Markets as Program Officer at the Center for International Private Enterprise. Previously, she managed communications and government relations as Communications Officer for the President of KIMEP University in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Other experience studying international markets includes her time at the U.S. Embassy in Riga, Latvia and Russian International Affairs Council in Moscow, Russia. Kalea holds a B.A. in Russian & Eurasian Studies from Princeton University. She speaks Russian and is an alumna of the National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) scholarship for Russian.

Dr. Malkiel serves as an Advisor to the EMQQ Index Committee. Dr. Malkiel is the Chief Investment Officer of WealthFront and a long time Professor of Economics at Princeton University. He is widely considered one of the pioneers of index investing and ETFs. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Vanguard, Dean of the Yale School of Management and as Chairman of the Princeton University Economics Department. Dr. Malkiel is also well known for his seminal work A Random Walk Down Wall Street. Dr. Malkiel holds B.A. and MBA degrees from Harvard and a Ph.D. from Princeton University.

Dr. Zhang serves as an advisor to the EMQQ Index Committee. She is the CEO of New York based Purview Investments, a firm specializing in active ETF managed solutions and ETF innovation. Her career spans from quantitative analysis at Baring Asset Management, multi-asset portfolio management at Blackrock and MFS, to leading the investment team at Windhaven. She is a recipient of Top Women in Asset Management 2015 by Money Management Executive and a co-founder of Women in ETFs. She holds B.A. from University of Regina, Canada, M.S. and Ph.D. in Finance from University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Mr. Kang is a Member of the EMQQ Index Committee. Mr. Kang has the experience of over 25 NYSE listed ETF launches and was previously one of three founders of Emerging Global Advisors and EGShares a New York based asset manager whose ETF product lineup focused on emerging and frontier markets. Mr. Kang was the Chief Investment Officer of EGShares and Portfolio Manager of the EGShares Emerging Markets Consumer ETF (NYSE: ECON). Over his 20 years of buy-side experience, Richard has had senior roles at a hedge fund, fund-of-hedge fund, investment counseling firm, index provider and ETF issuer/manager. He sits on FTSE’s Country Classification Indexing Committee as well as the editorial board of Institutional Investors’ The Journal of Index Investing, the only academic journal for the indexing and ETF industry.

Michael J. Venuto is a ETF industry veteran with two decades of experience in the design and implementation of ETF-based investment strategies. Michael is currently Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Toroso Investments, LLC. Michael is also a Director of Tidal ETF Services which helps investors launch and grow ETFs. Previously, he was Head of Investments at Global X Funds. Before that, he was Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manger at Horizon Kinetics.

Mr. Nathani serves as an Advisor to the EMQQ Index Committee. He was most recently the CEO of eBay India. He grew the business from under $200M GMV in 2013 to nearly $500M GMV in 2016 and 5M+ customers. He exited with the sale of eBay India to Flipkart. Previously Latif co-founded eMemories.com (one of the first online picture sharing services) and 2 enterprise businesses at Microsoft. He also led global product marketing at Symantec and named/launched Norton 360. Latif has 27 years of technology industry experience, including 15 years at Microsoft. Latif graduated with an MBA from City University and B.S. (Computer Science) from the University of Arizona in 1991.

Minimum $300mm market capitalization
Liquidity screen $1.0mm average daily turnover
Rebalanced and reconstituted semi-annually in June and December
Fast track IPO inclusion after 3 trading days if market cap >$10 Billion
Index Committee discretion (by majority vote for special inclusions and removals)
Market Cap weighted with 8% max weight per security at rebalance
